Political Lessons from King Josiah...

"He (Josiah) did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left." 2 Chronicles 34:2

1 - To be sure, I plan to vote. I always have. And I once registered as a Republican. But I am not a party guy. Both sides have serious strong points and serious weak points. I live in Texas where Dem's don't often get a fair hearing and the war is often promoted as 'godly.'

My dad, who lives in Seattle, and I share similar political views. And he lives in an area where Republicans don't often get a fair hearing. We are both sensitive to this dynamic from different directions. And both of us cause a lot of consternation to our neighbors over these things. But neither of us are committed to either party. Some of the things each stand for serve God and some of them serve Hate despite rhetoric otherwise.
